Rocky Mountain Purls is definitely our most underestimated yarn. This fingering weight yarn is a blend of 80% SW BFL (Bluefaced Leicester) & 20% Nylon and will withstand some hardcore wear. We have been told it's 'The Best Sock Yarn Ever' thanks to the strength of the BFL and added stability of the nylon. The Farmer’s Daughter swears by it for sweaters; it has a mellow crunch but softens up with wear and blocking. It creates beautiful, classic garments like cardigans and pullovers, but would also look gorgeous in a textured shawl. 400 yards/100g
